Our Story

Creating a Home for Handloom Sarees

"When human hands and heart work in tandem, that is grace in making. Handwoven cloth has beauty and grace that is significant" - Sadhguru

Meet Our Founder

Lakshmi Bhadoria
Founder, House Of Lakhs

House Of Lakhs began with a personal change in perspective.

For Lakshmi, handloom was not always something she understood deeply. Like many women, she had her own ideas about sarees and handloom: beautiful, yes, but perhaps difficult to wear, difficult to maintain, and meant mostly for special occasions.

Then she experienced handloom differently.

She began exploring the craft, learning about weaves, fabrics and the incredible detail that goes into creating a saree by hand. What started as curiosity soon became a genuine appreciation for India's weaving traditions.

In October 2024, that appreciation became House Of Lakhs.

Today, Lakshmi personally curates each collection with the belief that handloom should not feel distant or intimidating. It should feel beautiful, relevant and easy to make a part of your life.
